Tenue | All racers have to wear the same uniform which has to be identical with the restaurant uniform of the hotel they are racing for. Females are allowed instead of wearing skirt long trousers in the same color as the male waiters. Only sport shoes are allowed. |

Autres règles | Equipment - Each team will be receiving two black Cambro waiter trays round 33 cm with 4 Cambro tumbler 330 ml each. Purpose of the race - Each participant has to conquer the obstacles as fast as possible with the 4 tumblers balancing on the tray filled with water. Whatever water remaining on the end of the track has to be poured into the glass cylinder. Once the water is dropped the waiter/waitress can run as fast as possible in a straight line back to the start line whereas the next waiter can start as soon as the finishing line has been passed by his/her team member. Time keeping - The time starts when the first team member has started and will be stopped with the fourth team member crossing the finishing line. The liquid fact - Each waiter can maximum pour 4 tumblers @ .33 liter = 1.3 liter into the glass cylinder. The total potential with 4 waiters/waitresses is 4 x 1.3 liter = 5.2 liter Zero point is set at 4 liters of liquid equals to no time added or deducted; each .200 below the 4 liters will result in a 5 second penalty to be added to the final time stopped. Each 0.200 above the 4 liters mark will result in a 5 second bonus deduction from the final time stopped. The winner will be the fastest racing team – minus or plus the bonuses or penalties. Competition modus - The 8 teams will be drawn with a lucky draw into 4 x 2 competitions on the same morning of the event. The 4 winners of the first round will be advancing into the quarter final whereas they have to compete again on the same race track. The 2 losers will be having the runner up final for the third place and the 2 winners will be compete in the final for the award of the first annual waiter race winning team 2011. |
