SUNDAY JULY 10TH at 4:00 p.m.
Speedwalking race begins at Washington Artillery Park (across from Jackson Square) Ends at the French Market Farmers Market on French Market Place Awards Ceremony at the Farmers Market followed by live music with ONE MIND BRASS BAND

Waiter arrival and distribution of materials to participants (trays, aprons, etc): 3:30 p.m.
Welcome Remarks and Rule Reviews: 3:45 p.m.
Race Begins Promptly: 4:00 p.m.
Award Ceremony: 4:30 p.m.
PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Cash prizes and product prizes from French Market and French Quarter shops will comprise the awards:
First Place $150 cash prize plus store and restaurant gift certificates totaling $100. Total value: $250.
Second Place $100 cash prize plus store and restaurant gift certificates totaling $50. Total value: $150.
Third Place $50 cash prize plus store and restaurant gift certificates totaling $50. Total value: $100.
