What is a WaitersRace.com Official Reporter?

An Official Race Reporter is a local person specially appointed by WaitersRace.com in order to cover the event and thus to join the Community with an active and interesting role.

Who Can Apply To Become an Official Reporter?

Everyone who attends a race can apply to be an Official Reporter. Generally, the Official Reporters are people linked to the Tourist Office, the City Hall, the organizer, or a photographer, a journalist, a student and obviously a fan of waiters races.

Mission and Status of an Official Reporter

Before the event

The Reporter is responsible for collecting and forwarding any relevant information that can complete the Race Page Profile on WaitersRace.com.

During the event

The Reporter covers the event as completely as possible. This includes:

  1. Photos (minimum of 50 with good quality photos with legend) of scenes or objects identified as the departure, the arrival, the tray, the organizer, the winners and the public,
  2. Videos including some identified footage, such as interviews of the organizer and the winner,
  3. Instantaneous transmission of the results of the race to WaitersRace.com.
After the race

The Reporter can make a kind of quick summary, with the highlights of the race and his impressions that will be posted on the site.

The Official Reporter:

  1. Get a Free personnal dedicated page,
  2. Have its name appearing in the list of all WaitersRace.com Reporters,
  3. It is very common that the cafe or restaurant invites the reporter for a meal during which he will be able to interview the winner.
