2011 is going to be a memorable year for the waiters and waitresses of Yokohama, the second largest city of Japan. According to Nishida Tetsuji, organizer of the first edition of Yokohama 2011 waiters race, a waiters race has never been organized in the city.
The organization of this event is going to be put together by an executive committee made up of Yokohama Convention & Visitors Bureau, Measure Hotels and several restaurants of the city.
The waiters race will feature a relay and the organizers hope to have close to 100 competitors.

ウエィターズレース横浜2011
2011年は横浜のウエィターズレースの歴史にとって記念すべき年になります。事務局の西田氏によると日本で二番目に大きな都市である横浜で初の開催であるとのことです。
開催のための実行委員会は横浜観光コンベンションビューローをはじめ横浜の主要ホテルとレストランから構成されます。
レースはリレーも実施され、事務局は100人程度の選手の参加を見込んでいます。
